2027 Assessment Symposium Schedule
Subject to change. Please see your schedule on March 30 for the most accurate schedule. 10-minute transition periods will be between all sessions. If participants have any questions, they should stop by the Durham Great Hall entryway to receive help.
All sessions will be in the Memorial Union.
8-8:30 a.m. | Check-in | Durham Great Hall
Participants can check in to the symposium between 8-8:30 a.m. in the Memorial Union Durham Great Hall. When participants check in, they will be given a welcome packet and can grab coffee, tea, and water before heading to their first session. Posters will also be available for viewing in the Durham Great Hall all day.

9:20-9:40 a.m. | Poster Session | Durham Great Hall
Research posters will be available for viewing in the Durham Great Hall. Stop by and view posters, talk to the staff presenting, and pick your favorite posters. Coffee, tea, and water will be available. The 2026-2027 Assessment Academy will be presenting their studies during this time.
9:50-10:30 a.m. | Session 2 | Various Locations

Enjoy a full lunch from ISU Catering, view posters, and chat with fellow participants. At 11:45 a.m., the keynote presentation will begin, but staff are more than welcome to grab additional food and enjoy their lunch during the presentation.

Dr. Doug Stilwell from Drake University will be the keynote speaker at the 2027 Assessment Symposium. More information about Dr. Stilwell will be available closer to the symposium.
1-2:15 p.m. | Workshops | Various Locations
Choose from one of two workshops. More information will be available closer to the symposium.
